When worn with a bra, the corset and the bra fit into one another minimising any gaps that tend to appear with corsets that are straighter at the top. So no skin can be seen between the corset and bra. This also makes the corset much more comfortable, as skin does not get caught in between the gap either. Additionally the corset provides extra support for the bust.

This is ideal for those with larger busts who would like an overbust look, but cannot get the right fit.
